Description
As you may remember, my father experienced dementia over several years and passed from Covid-19, April 2020. To watch the decline, frustration and fear my dad experienced was difficult for my family.
I learned how to manage & deal with the decline of my dads mental health. Patience, love, and compassion were some of the characteristics that we brought forth.
When I moved down to Florida, I started playing pickleball, and for those of you who play, I say this with respect, you’re forgetting who’s serving and what the score is. Often, one of us would say, “I’m having a moment”. I said to Michelle, why don’t we put together a Pickleball charity event?
I’m proud to share, my committee and I have raised close to $500,000 to help fight this terrible disease. We’re hosting our fourth charity event which includes: a fun walk- run, and a pickleball and tennis event.
